Nowhere to die
Today the Star Tribune, an award willing regional newspaper, featured a story on Crescent Cove and our son Levi on the cover of the Sunday Variety section.
We are so thankful to Amiee Blanchette who wrote the story and Leila Navidi who took the photos and created the video piece. Both of whom shared our story with great integrity, compassion, and skillful storytelling. It is a rare thing for someone to be able to deeply understand our precious life with Levi and be able to communicate it so effectively.
We are amazed at how much 'real estate' the Editors gave this story in their Sunday edition. Bravo to the Star Tribune for also writing a side-bar article on the importance or respite for families like ours!
"Nowhere to die" vividly captures the need we have in our community for Crescent Cove and their work to build a hospice and respite home for kids. There is literally nowhere for kids and their families to go except the hospital or home. What happens when neither is an option?
